ABS/PMMA

ABS/PMMA co-extruded sheets are uniquely designed, multi-layer thermoplastic sheets that combine the appearance and weather and chemical resistance of specially formulated acrylic resins with the impact resistance, rigidity and properties of ABS thermoforming.

The ABS layer ensures high-quality forming while the acrylic layers protect against UV rays and offer an excellent surface appearance with a high gloss. This exceptional balance of features is ideal for thermoformed sanitary ware applications such as bathtubs, tub liners, tub surrounds, fixtures and sinks as well as home decor.

ABS/PMMA can be processed using many different methods, including milling, cementing, all types of forming, blanking and laser cutting. It can be punched, die cut, and painted with a sprayer, silk screen or roller. As long as proper procedures are followed, the material can be joined to other materials, or to itself, using adhesive bonding, ultrasonic welding, or mechanical fasteners such as screws and rivets.
